We are now offering the Novavax COVID vaccine at Nancy’s Place! This is not an mRNA vaccine like Pfizer and Moderna, this vaccine uses a more familiar technology using protein subunits, more similar to hepatitis B, shingles, and whooping cough vaccines. This vaccine is only for those who have never been vaccinated for COVID, starting from ages 12 and up. It is a two dose series, 3-8 weeks apart. The vaccine will be available on every first and third Wednesday afternoon of the month.
