Janie Carmon is a patient focused behavioral health specialist at FMC Nancy’s Place. Carmon is a native of Ironton and looks forward to helping the people of her community.

Carmon knows the struggles the Lawrence County residents can face and wants to do all she can to she assist those individuals with finding resources and giving them the tools, through the counseling process, to help them make an improvement in their lives. She also gives children the same “tool box” through counseling and support to provide a path for a more positive future. Carmon finds her work very rewarding and is dedicated to improving the lives of Lawrence County.

Janie Carmon attended Ohio University and the Lindsey Wilson School of Professional Counseling where she graduated with honors.
